Hi guys. Hope you can help me with this. I have a 8 years old 125 reef tank. Last couple years as my halide bulbs I used Ushio 14.000K bulbs and as daylights and as a supplement 4-54w T-5 ATI < 2 Blue Plus, 1 Actinic and 1Purple Plus>. Im happy with them but I want something new. I want maybe more blue so I want to change MH to Phoenix 14.000K and my supplement bulbs to Giesemen.Just something new. All revievs saying those and ATI are the best.I agree wit ATI. But im not sure of configuration so it looks good with Phoenix. Any expierience with Giesman T-5? They have Actinic+, AquaBlue+, AquaPink, MidDay and Pure Actinic. Hope you can help me. Thank you!

You need one or two Giesman Fiji purple, you will love it when go with Aquablue+ (either Giesman or ATI)...I got T5 before and I love the Fiji Purple. Some people may chim in.

Not a lot respond... I did some resarch... Maybe 2-AquaBlue, 1- AquaPink or like you said Fiji Purple and 1- Actinic+. Im not sure.. will that go with Phoenix 150w. 14.000K? Or just 1-AquaBlue,1-AquaPink, 1- Fiji Purple, 1-Actinic+ oo... I need some help...

I don't think many people run exclusively geissemann bulbs and you probably won't get much help on the subject. As a piece of advice you should try calling George at reefgeek.com and speak with him. He is a library of knowledge regarding reef lighting and may have a good answer for you.

do you have room to supplement or replace some bulbs with LED. You can get more specific color combos adding some magenta and reds or cyans than you would with t5 bulbs, and you don't need to replace. sounds like you've had the rig for a while and depreciated the value enough to warrant the 80 bucks for a strip or 2.

It's gonna be cheaper for you because you are looking for color, not necessarily something that is going to be a main growth source.
