new snails

I saw someone post a seller on ebay selling nassarius snails for really cheap so I bought myself 450 of them for $40. split them into 2 for a friend. They are all out and about in his tank 24/7, in mine I rarely ever see them View attachment 8941

You're not suppose to see these much during the day. They should be burrowed under the sand.

Are any of them moving? Have you used any chemicals that might have killed them?
