Nitrate test kit

What do you recommend and why?
My api is a pile of crap. Time to upgrade

I use salifert cause its all I use these day. Is easy to replicate test

Salifert as well, though the shading can be a little tough to tell small No3 changes.
I have heard good things about the Nyos nitrate test kit. Shading is said to be easier to tell. I have not used this on yet. Last time I tried at BRS, they were out of stock.

salifert as well for ease of use...it's 4 drops of a liquid and a spoon full of a powder, swirl and that's it

I ordered nyos. So we will see how that works out

I have all the test kits by NYOS...its easier to tell the colors, but not sure how accurate it is though

The Nitrate test by API is a blunt instrument. That being said, one can mistakenly switch the caps and contaminate the solution.

For you SPS guys, I can't imagine not having a Hannah.
