So I have been using Rowaphos for years and before that was BRS high capacity GFO. All I can say is PO4x4 by Reef Interest is the best GFO I have ever used. Took a lot for me to say this because I have always loved rowaphos and didn't think I would ever use anything else. I can tell you phosphates are at zero. I would have to give the glass a light cleaning and right now I am on a week and half on the new GFO and haven't touched the glass or do I see anything on it. I wanted to let you guys know about this product if your not using it already. Oh by the way you can also regenerate the gfo with the regeneration salt they sell.

I've also heard great things about this product. If I was going to run GFO (I don't/wont) it would be this one.

It is pretty amazing stuff was the biggest fan of rowaphos and never believed I would every use anything else but I will not be going back to rowaphos I will be using po4x4 from here on out
 
I will also mention that a buddy of mine tried this the same time a little over a week and a half and he's was changing his brs high capacity gfo every week and could not bring down his phosphates due to rocks leaching and this stuff brought it down to 0 in a week and been at 0 for almost 2 weeks without changing
 
i tried this stuff because i read all the great reviews about it ..... i used up all mu gfo and ordered a bag of this .... i put this in the same reactor i use for gfo ,started off slow , had a gentle tumble ... after 2 days my PO4 was higher than when i started ( yes i double checked my readings ) hanna checker with new regent .after the 4th day my PO4 was even higher yet ! and it turned everything in my sump and eggcrate brown ! not sure why ?? but by now all my sps completely closed up , every single polyps pulled in and they are just now starting to come back out ? some arent even out anymore ??

im not saying this product did this , but this was my experience with it , im back to using gfo and my PO4 is at .03 steady ! now maybe i wasnt supposed to tumble this product ? this was about 2 weeks ago , all levels are in check and my sps do not look good at all ?? not sure what i can do to get polyps back out ? did water change a week ago 50 gallons ( approx. 250 gal. TV )
