pakastani butterfly ?

Whos had a pakastani butterfly got one while back had flukes treated for flukes was eating frozen so finished treatment . Put in dt looked good was eating then stopped he still chases the food but dont eat it skinny belly prazipro is in tank just in case . Been more then three days i put sps colony in tank for it to eat and it does but will run out of sps quick lol . What should i try clams on half shell maybe?
 
Internal parasites need to be treated internally. Soak his food in Prazi.
Not sure how you keep a fish that eats stony corals in the wild. What else have they been know to eat? What else has this fish been eating?

Ive treated with prazi if u didnt read and why u asking me the same question im asking in my post if i knew i wouldnt need to post ?
 
Where did it say anywhere you treated his food? Why do you have to be so rude??? I'm just trying to offer some help. I mean, I've been to your home, we've always been friendly towards each other. Would you really be this rude to my face?
 
Rude i ask what else this thing eats and then u ask what else it eats so u tell me im crazy but the postbis about what it eats cause i have no clue and then u ask me what it eats well thats what im asking maybe im dumb but that makes no sense im not being rude stateing facts please just stay off my thread

I was under the impression you were concerned it might have IPs. I thought you might be interested in some help with that. Obviously, you've got everything covered.
 
I have ips covered seen him poop and u can treat with prazi pro in the water for ip fyi its just quicker if it eats which it isnt which is the problem im asking or id post in desease area. I mention ip and prazi so i dont get hundred people saying ip he skinny cause he stopped eating ive seeb his poop its normal no ip he eats food spits it out now maybe i didnt explain right in original post but thought i explained what i was wondering

The Pakistan Butterflyfish requires a varied diet including marine fish, crustacean flesh, brine shrimp, and frozen meaty preparations. Once acclimated to the aquarium, it requires feedings several times daily.


So I would try brine and maybe rods? That's what's sucks. Beautiful fish... Is it eating ur CUC? Gus had one... Unless u bought from him... Maybe u can send him a msg. Don't know if he still checks msgs. Good luck man. Keep us updated.

i had it eating a mixture of spirilina and mysis in qt being treated for flukes and internals just in case butterflies r nortorius for ip . he seemed to eat good then when i got into dt i didnt keep eye on it saw it bite food so thought it was all good now i notice he bites the food then spits it out little bastard. he eats the sps he went after pellets but spit it out like everything else kinda been a headache fish to be honest beautiful but what a pain . i have no clean up crews in either of my tanks fowlr none at all reef only 2 shrimp and few nassaurious if they still alive only seen one today . i got tired of cuc getting eaten so stop buying . i got it from underwater world and didnt do research on it figured it was same as any other non reef butterfly so its my bad . i will try clams on half shell and bunch other stuff i feed three times a day any way in both tanks so if it was eating good it be fat like the others

you know my 2 butterflies eat like pigs.. declivis and mitratus... but the stupid Declivis got crypt from NYAquatics.. it was my fault for not QTing but I was in a rush... Mitratus got it as well, but looks better after one week of Metro and Focus (following eric's method). The Declivis looks like he scratched off a bunch of scales, but since he's white hard to see the white spots...

hopefully u figure it out man.. do u use garlic? I soak all the food in it and I make a huge mixture of a bunch of diff foods...

stupid crypt has kept me from getting any other fish...
 
I made a mixture or spiralina brine and mysis mixed with focus and metro and fresh ginger i feed both tanks each day 90 gal fowlr i just leave copper in it so dont worry about ich in there but an fighting ich in reef its up and down looked like crap yesterday today look good its only on 2 out of 10 fish though my moorish and cheveron

i was able to catch it fairly easy well really easy one scoop lol. put in qt he actually has fattened up or not as skinny as i thought but still not eating any way he will stay in there till i train him to eat

I will this fish being more stubborn then my idol which is doing great and eating pellets and actually likes pellets more then shrimp :)

I wanted an idol... I'm holding out.. My butterflies having their own issues... Maybe I'll get a gem tang!
