Using T5, I have success with PAR between 200 and 400 on most SPS. SPS that are considered "high light" seem to thrive for me at 400 PAR or a little more. I have montis that get less than 150 PAR and seem to be doing great. IME, PAR levels are harder to read with LEDs. Not due to the blue spectrum that isn't measured accurately, but I would find hot and cold spots just a few inches apart. The hot spots were eliminated by raising the lamps to smooth them out. When I ran LED, I shot for PAR levels 150 to 300 on the Apogee.
