PC or T5

I just found out Aquarium Adventure gives free trades of old light fixtures for a Hagen T5 HO tomorrow morning. I think it has 2x54 watt bulbs.

Is it worth trading my old 24" Coralife 2x65 watt PC bulbs fixture for this? I'm probably going use it to start up a frag tank or something.

Edit: it's on Feb 22. not Feb 14.

That's insane, are there any limitations? Yes absolutely trade the PC for the T5.

Thanks guy, I used the PCs around 10 years ago when I was just getting started. I went to LEDs and don't have much experience with other lighting. Time to trade i guess. lol. there is a 30 person first come first serve limitation.

So. This deal doesn't take place until until feb 22. My source was wrong. So hopefully no one shows up with their light like an idiot like I did... Lol but everything is 50% off. And the fish look like they're starving to death. Someone save them!!

Wait, so what exactly is the deal, bring in a PC fixture, get a FREE T5 fixture of equivalent size?

Yes sir. They said bring in your light fixture and they will match the size, but quantity is obviously limited. It's a representative of the Hagen company coming with the lights so they Aquarium Adventure staff don't know exactly if it's going to be double bulb but they think it will be. Bulbs are not included.

What time on the 22? I would love to ditch this PC fuge light!
 
It starts at open, which i think is 10am... might want to double check though. It's for the first 30 people.
