Hi I am new to the forum and was wondering how to lower my phosphates i am currently at .25 and can not lower. Just recently started running gfo

What test kit you using? Keep running the gfo and change water more often. Change the gfo every 2-3 weeks and test again. Hanna checker is a good test kit.

If you recently started running GFO, give it some time to work. Test in a week to see if it brought it down any, if not, up the dose.

Hello and welcome to the site... how long has your tank been up and running, what livestock do you have in the tank, do you use tap water or rodi water? Tell us a lil about your tank, so that we can help you fix the issue.

Using saliferts test kit. have done 25% water changes every two weeks. Is .25 level something to worry about

I have a 125 gallon . Also running 2 reactors one with carbon and one with gfo

What coral you have? Any algae in the tank? 0.03-0.07 is ideal for keeping sps. You are using rodi or tap water?

rodi water with 0ppm not many sps (2) many lps and softies.
