Plasti Dip for all yer painting needs when you feel like you might suck at painting. Came out as black as can be and will just peel right off IF it needs to
Because The fake wood grain is just nasty. Now original plans include a white painted trim piece to go around the top of the tank. This will happen when I finish the floating canopy. But for now this is better than doing nothing. Once again using Plasti dip because screwing up here with paint would really suck. Any plasti dip mistakes roll right off. But the stuff doesn't come off unless you want it to if ya follow the instructions and watch a YouTube video or 6
So this is what the tank looks like now. It hasn't been running for too long and I just had surgery last week so I hope it doesn't set me back to too far. I definitely need to finish the doors and door panel trim along with the rest of the stand trim. Also need to get started on the floating canopy and tank top trim. I have a few pieces of equipment to purchase yet then it's on to the coral. Im lucky enough to have Kush Corals/Chicagoland Aquariums a few minutes from my house.
