Spa flex can still be cemented to normal PVC fittings. My closed loop plumbing is a mix of flex and rigid PVC connected with unions and couplings.

I hope so, lol, cause otherwise I have $90 of useless closed loop plumbing!!

I also wanted to mention. If u run a T off the return for WC. This only works if when the power is shut off. The last chamber hold enough water to do the entire water change. Otherwise u will just run it dry and have to siphon to finish the WC anyway.

In that case I wouldn't bother
