Poor puffer...

I was doing a pretty good WC on my tank the other day. Blowing off all the rock & sandbed with a powerful pump. It got pretty cloudy & chaotic in there. The fish got crowded together & I felt a bite. Thought my sharpnose puffer bit me, until I remembered the Foxface. it was like he attacked me with that dorsal fin of his. Anyway, one of my puffers looked down for the count. I thought maybe there was too much action for him--stress. But 2 days later, he's still alive & acting the same. Just sits in a coral breathing heavy. I wonder if he got stung too? IDK what there is I can do for him. :(

Hope he recovers. did you have any adverse effects from the Foxface? I have been thinking of getting one, but the poison aspect puts me off a bit since I have started doing the blowoff rocks thing and have hands in the tank more and more

Yes Joe, it is. :( I think he's gonna pull through though.

The sting to my thumb wasn't anything worse than a bee sting. It hurt for about an hour. A lil red & swollen but that went away too. I think the big problem is for those allergic. Mostly that would be the same folks allergic to bee stings.
