Powder blue tang

Try ocean nutrition formula two or spirulina flakes my tangs love both they are green in color staple flakes catered to herbivores like tangs mine gobble them they ignored the ocean nutrition prime reef that are bright red flakes heavy in protein and if you really want to trick them mix some Julian springs mixed algae flakes in with the green formula two or spirulina flakes I used to mix them all together in my ehiem auto feeder flakes are big in container try breaking them up into bigger pieces to resemble torn up algae sheets
 
I really didn't do anything. One day I was feeding the other fish and it came up and took a bite. Since then it eats anything I put in the tank :)
 
So update... Since the 23rd, my Yellow Tang, Powder Blue, and Hippo all LOVE nori. I put up a sheet every morning (a nice big piece) and it's gone within hours. The tank gets fed a mixture of mysis, Rod's herbivore, blood worms, and other stuff three times a day, and everyone is getting fatter, as well as looking healthy. My tangs love to eat ANYTHING.
 
try some LIFE LINE its very nutritious ...i know tangs primarily feed on vegies but should also have a meaty diet.. i keep powder blue tangs for years and all of them ate pellet,flake,and all types of meaty frozen foods.
