So i thinking of a couple different units sets for my 65 gallon, 36 x 18 x 24. i WANT GOOD FLOW! Going with Hydor Koralia. Looking for feed back

1 2200 GPH, 1 850 GPH, 1 425 GPH

2 1500 GPH

1 1500 GPH, 1 850 OR 1 1150 GPH, 425 GPH.

1 3250 GPH, 1 850 GPH
 
2x 1500gph.

Do 2 2200 gph and face them at each other from each end. When one goes on the other goes off.
 
My friend just put a WP40 in her 65 and she loves it. I hate the koralias. They are always starting in reverse and the impellers always swell and fail.
 
I've had Koralias, Tunze Nano Props, and Vortecs.

I'd say have at least one DC controllable pump with about half your planned turnover. The Tunzes with controllers or Vortecs.

Koralias are OK for 3-6 months but they will fall apart if you run them on controllers. I''ve had the nanos and the big ones, they have all failed in less than a year. During the time they do work your fish will be spooked by the periodic start chatter caused by the Koralias.

Just my opinions.
