Radion into 29 gallon Biocube Hood

So I am finally moving forward with my build and started gutting the hood last night for the radion. I was wanting to keep the factory fans in place to have more airflow under the plastic shield. Some reading has shown that there should be enough flow with the radion fan just forcing flow out the hood vent areas. That being said I just figure I would like to REALLY make sure things are ok by keeping the factory fans.

To my question...what do I need to do to 'plug' the fans into an outlet? I do not want to keep the big power cord(s) just to supply the fans with power. I was wondering if I could use the power supply that is there for the LED's?

I did see a kit out there: http://www.rapidled.com/60mm-vantec-stealth-fan-kit/

I don't mind buying something like this but the fans in the hood are brand new. Any input would be appreciated!

All you would need to run the fans is a 10V or 12V AC Adapter. you can connect that directly to the fan and plug it in. you can get it from any computer store or radio shack or from http://www.rapidled.com/ac-adapters/ ..

that apart are you sure you would want to mount a radion into a biocube hood ? if you are hiding it anyways why not DIY for much cheaper and get a better spread ?

Would I just split to the two fans or would I need an adapter for each fan?
As far as whether or not to do this...I had purchased the radion for a 60 cube build that fell thru so I have it. I realize it is WAY overkill but I also have a full apex that I will be using to control it so that is a plus...

The two stock fans I am keeping in place to both blow out to exit the air flow from the radion fan. Hopefully that will help keep that to a minimum. I figure the radion is made to be used in a "warm and humid environment" according to the manual. :)

Lots of specific DIY Kits 1/2 the price of a radion for the 29G Biocube....

If you stuck on the Radion. Gut It. Then put the LEDs on a proper heatsink that fits the BC 29 (Plenty out there) and remote mount the drivers.

I would also seal the LED Boards to prevent salt water damage.

Fans are simple just ensure you have enough airflow to keep it cool.
