Hey everyone.

Im running an Xr15w pro above my 5 gallon pico tank. I originally started the intensity at around 20% and moved up 5% every two weeks until around 45%. Then I noticed bleaching of all my corals, like they were dull. I turned it down to around 30%, but realized I still wasnt growing any coraline, when all the tank parameters were going well. Does anyone have a good suggestion for what I should be running this light at? It's currently mounted 8" above the tank, as per the manufacturer's recommendations. I mostly keep LPS (acans) and zoas and some shrooms.

Im currently back at 20% because, I dont know what else to do. Should I be even lower?
 
Well for 1 it's a 5 gallon tank and your using a light that is one of the brightest leds on the market. The other reason I say 10-15% is because you only have LPS and softies. I could maaaybe see 20-25% with sps.
 
Ive found coraline actually grows better in my shaded areas rather then my bright areas . I dont know much about those lights but being such a small tank u probably have em set to high my guess would be it doesnt take much to penetrate 5 gallons of water
