RARE HYBRID -- Acanthurus achilles x A. nigricans

Just received an extremely rare hybrid tang in -- a cross between an achilles and a gold rimmed tang. I am looking forward to seeing it when I get back with the new load of live gulf rock on Sunday. It is listed at $270 and I have some links below that talk a little about this fish.

We also received a rare dottyback from Australia last week, multicolor pseudochromis that is spectacular. Plus we still have those 2 great wrasses in for you to look at. These rarer fish are obviously not in most people's budget but I hope you get the chance to see them.

I am told it is about 3" plus. (I am still in Florida, bringing back a new load of gulf rock that weather permitting will be collected tomorrow)

It was the only one.

I have limited internet access while here and on the road so I may not respond as promptly as I would like and after tomorrow will not be on this site again until Saturday night when I hope to be back.

Will this fish develop the tear drop shape of color and streamers like a regular Achilles? Either way $270 is a good price for a fish like this. The streamers are just starting on my Achilles and its defiantly one of my favorite fish
