I bought a nice intense orange RBTA and drip acclimated for it over 45min last night.

Things started ok

I did a 50% water change Sat morning and everything else in the tank looks good...

Note: It's only completely limp when the power heads are off, but with the on the current just seems to beat it up.

Should I be worried? Any action to take???

Leave it be, but keep an eye on it. It might be hiding from your lights as they might be more intense then where it came from. It still looks healthy to me from the photos.

Mine did the same. Was under Radions and now under EverGrows. Hid under the rockwork for a day, then worked his way to the other side of my tank and has been there ever since. Was about 3" open when I got him in June '13. Now its over 6" and in the same place.

When my lights come down in the late PM and my power head goes into slow mode, it looks like your "limp" pic.

Hmm, it moved under the rock right after I turned the lights off.

Current is 2 55w 50/50 PCs, 1 18w 12k T5 and 1 17w actinic T5.

Not sure comparatively what nems need, but I can say my zoas are multiplying and my blastos do better lower in the tank.

That said, lights are on the shopping list!

Looking for a good way to do LEDs in my hood...not much room in it, but I can't remove it and hang 'em. Thinking 2 54w T5s and maybe something like AI hydras...just not sure they can be that close to an acrylic top.
