Red Bug Help

So during construction of my latest fish trap I noticed alot of little red bugs on the glass. I've been starting to read up on them and I guess they're pretty bad to have in your tank.

Does anyone have any experience with these things? What's the best way to get rid of em? Lately I find myself getting more and more frustrated with this hobby. I guess it comes with the territory though.
 
Are they red flatworms? They are harmless unless they start to overrun your tank and start covering your corals.
 
Ive been trying to catch a couple and take a pic. the one that I actually saw on a napkin was really red. Are there red copepods?
 
I know the pods are good and maybe I panicked a little but there are literally hundreds of these things on the glass today. I guess I haven't really been looking at the tank that closely lately and they caught me off guard. I guess it's time for a mandarin.
