What is the difference in the ReefKeeper Lite Controller - Level 1 and the ReefKeeper Lite Controller - Level 3? Well...besides the price!

The controller, nothing. Level 3 comes with system lab 1 for ph and orp monitoring, along with 2 switch sensors, a ph probe, and an additional pc4. The level 3 is a good package to start with. The basic is pretty much just one pc4 and a temp probe.
 
do u think should i go with RKL L3 or maybe RKL L1 + SL2 +pH probe +salinity probe ?
i dont realy feel need in ORP monitoring.
 
I'm not sure if things changed but I thought sl2 was exclusive to elite controller, not lite. The salinity thing is a waste of money anyways, refractometer is like 1/3 the price of just the probe and you can use it anywhere you want.

No it's not. I have an SL2 on the lite. However, the SL2 has been in redesign to work with a less expensive salinity probe, so you cannot buy them at the moment. They will be available soon, and current SL2 owners can swap theirs out.

OP, it depends on how many power ports you want to control, each PC4 controls 4 outlets. I have mine set us as:
RKL - HUB - MCL - NET - SL2 - PC4
 
RKL L3 comes with SL1 so how many probes can i connect? ,im looking to monitor ;
temperature
pH
salinity
 
If you plan to upgrade from your Biocube down the road.. Buy the 379.99 as this will be a great investment.. If not sure, just get the RKL for 119.99 IMO

THen all you need is a RKL level 1 + SL2 (but you can't buy them right now) + pH probe + Salinity probe (but you can't buy them right now)

SL2 and salinity prob will be available in the next few months.

Neptune is a better system IMO, but also costs more.
