Reef octopus 2000 help

My skimmer looks like it has crapped out on me. I turned it off and when i went to turn it on, it would not. I took it out of the sump, cleaned it, and put it back. I could feel the pump vibrating but not pushing water. Might be time to buy a new one.

I only have a space 9 and 1/2 inches wide and 14 inches long.

My tank is 48x24

Thoughts on Reef Octopus Super Reef 2000 internal skimmer or something around that price range that fits in my sump?
 
Have u tried blowing into air hose? If u like your skimmer, maybe just upgrade the pump. A better pump can probably get your skimmer to work better than buying a whole new skimmer
