Reef octopus or Vertex?

I'm currently shopping for a protein skimmer for my new 60 gallon build. I've been pretty set on the reef octopus INT 150 until I just seen that BRS & Marine Depot have the vertex 130 on sale for $250. Which would you guys/gals suggest?

I would go with the Vertex personally. The build quality appears to be fantastic and the performance seems to be top notch. I'm considering a vertex 130 for my 50 gallon system, either that or a skimz.

Vertex 130 over the Reef Octopus but I don't think you could go wrong with either direction. I own a Vertex 180i and I can tell you the quality of the Vertex's are incredible. Skimz IMO makes higher quality skimmers over that of the Reef Octopus. Performance wise though they pretty much all work as intended. I leave shortly to go pick up my Vertex Omega 130, lol.

So since I'm such a noob, I realized today that the chamber where I'm going to place the skimmer is 10 3/8 x 9 1/2. Which leaves me little room to work with. The Vertex might not fit or sit very tight, which I don't want. The RO wont work at all, unless I get the Super Saver version. The Aquamaxx CO-1 would fit, but I can't find that anywhere.
