We have been talking a lot about hybrids and unusual color morphs lately. This flame angelfish fish is neither. Instead it has a genetic abnormality ....a missing tail fin. In case you are wondering, this unique fish manages to swim and maneuver just fine without his tail and caudal fin!
Our supplier has seen over 500,000 flames in his career and this is a first for him as well.
Next, we have the rare Greenei Triggerfish (Xanthichthys greenei) formally known as the Kiri Triggerfish. These guys are reef safe and initial research leads us to believe the maximum size is around 6 inches!
