Tiny fish are referred to as "hot potatoes" in Hawaii since they are very hard to get to eat and the supply chain passes them on as fast as possible. We had a client that really wanted a tiny bandit so we asked our collector to get us one anyway. This less than 1" bandit was collected with great care and went through a staged decompression process versus being needled.
We housed her to in a tank loaded with sponges as well as a shrimp pair that consistently has eggs for natural sources of food. We trained her to eat using Doc's, LRS, & PE Mysis. She now even devours large PE Mysis!
