Refug?

I was wondering if its a good idea to add on a refugium to my going to be sps tank even though i plan on running carbon and gfo?

I personally like the fuge no matter what equipment you use if you have the space it can be a mini display all in itself or a copod ranch I love.my.mandarin so it was a easy choice for me to have one

Thanks for bringing this topic up Mr. Ghostly! I was actually wondering the same thing. I am in the process of turning my FOWLR tank into a LPS tank and was looking at this as a possibility to add into my sump.... does anyone know anything about this particular refugium?

I think I would rather add something to my sump rather than do a whole rebuild on my sump. Wondering if anyone thinks whether or not this would work for a 40 gallon sump? (Dimensions of in tank refugium 12" x 6" x 8")

Personally, I would never run any kind of system without my refugium. There are too many benefits to having one.

You might find you won't need GFO if you have a fuge. Carbon is unrelated to having a fuge.
