Question for you reefer pros!
I have heard that I can put multiple Regal Tangs in one tank. Is this true? I know sometimes it can be risky to put multiple tangs of the same kind together in a tank. We currently have a juvenile Regal in our 210gal FOWLR tank right now. Do you think it would be safe to get my little guy a buddy?

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all of your help! I am still relatively new at all this!

Your tank is big enough. I have 3 yellow tangs in my 180. It would help if you put them in all at the same time. they do better in odd numbers. just putting 2 is a dice roll, actually it's always a dice roll, just hope the tangs you pick up arent' the super agressive ones.

Wonderful! Good to know they do better in odd numbers. The one I have now is not at all aggressive and I haven't had him that long so maybe I will add two more and hope that those are also not too aggressive. I appreciate the feedback and first hand knowledge about the tangs! Thanks to both of you!

I had 3 in my 450 and they were fine for awhile untill they grew to about 4-5 inches and then they started getting very aggressive, not sure why but sold 2 and kept one.

They will be fine in your tank.If you already have one established ,make sure that the second one you will introduce is a little bigger in size. This will prevent aggression as the bigger one will be able to defend himself.
