Return pump question

I am working on setting up a 220 peninsula build, and thinking about the return pump. I am thinking about a DC return pump to help with the noise.
I am not sure I want the pump in or out of the sump.
Any help would be appreciated

I will say that if you want the return pump external don't go with the Jebao.

i am going to order a vectra M1, although you might want an L1 for that size tank, but its not cheap
