how does that future work? Do i need a special switch?

You need 1 or 2 float valves,when the float valve reaches its lowest setting,it will trigger your ato pump untill the float valve reaches its set limit.

You also need a SL1 or SL2 and a free outlet on your PC4 for the pump

If you already have the RKL, then you'll have to add to it. If you haven't yet, get the Elite. You'll thank yourself later.
