So I just got my ro today from brs.i hooked it all up and sure enough low water pressure.I get a max of 28-30 psi.so my question in this.where can I get a decent booster pump for not a whole lot of money? Has anyone tried the ones from Ebay? Like this one

It's not cheap but I really like the one from brs! http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/1-4-aquatec-8800-booster-pump-kit.html jump in on a group buy that joe sets up. My water pressure is only 35psi with the pump 80psi no problem and its adjustable as well. I asked brs and they said to keep it at 80psi with my 5stage 150gpd ro/di

To me, the name brand pump with a great reputation is worth paying more for. $55 is worth it for peace of mind. If it was double or more, I'd take a gamble on the Ebay one...

Yea I like the aquatec 8800 too but it's all bout the $$ right now.the company that sells the one I post in the link also sells the 8800.the difference between the two is that the 8800 does 20 psi more I think.

Its not about pressure between the pumps. Its about volume. The 8800 can do the pressure and the volume. The ebay pump is missing a pressure switch so you'll have to add that to the cost of the ebay pump. So that should bring it to $25-30 difference.
