Thanks Madjoe, I will use the water than and then just get new DI Resin, I tested again later last night and it was at 002 so yea thats fine I will change Resin.

if u burn thru di resin it might be worth getting a 2 stage di cartridge

your welcome. Just so you know ro's make dirty water for the first few minutes then it gets cleaner. maybe thats what you are seeing. i got a kent maxima ro system that i got second hand years ago. and i got three tanks 90, 24, and 20. mixed reefs, leds lights, blah blah.

Yea I figured that also, so I ran another 5g bucket last night and came up 002, but still going to get that DI Resin changed its only about $20 to change so its cool will save me in the future.

Wow you sound like you have a lot. I had a 125G a few years back but never had a RO Unit so I always bought my water, walking out of fish store with 10-20 5gallon jugs not fun but had to do it...LOL.

Also forgot to mention I have a TDS meter does that make a difference?

$hit my tds going into my rodi unit is 820 my unit drops it to 0 but I replace filters/resin at least once every 2 months ....the price we pay for our pets
