ro/di water filter

Im looking forward to buy ro/di water filter ,
any suggestions ?
there is a lot of different ones ,
for example

5 stage ro/di 50gpd

6 stage ro/di 80gpd

7 stage ro/di/uv 150gpd

which one do you recommend ?

i only have 28 jbj nano cube, but im just tired driving every week to the store to buy water.

couple months ago, 1 person sold 6 stage RO/DI system with extra media for $50 in Gurnee. the system is still new. I contacted him but too late, there someone closer took it...man to bad...

I have a 4-stage BRS unit with an upgraded RO membrane and it works well. I got it used from a fellow reefer. If you aren't in a hurry deals can be found. BTW, I heard good things about Spectrpure RODI units too.

That, but get the "plus" version, for $40 more you get dual TDS meter, pressure gauge and flush kit. Not sure if there are any additional items you also get but those 3 alone are worth much more than $40 separately.

I agree. If you can spare the extra change it's worth it.

out of all the ro/di units I have had I have to say the Vertex Aquaristik Puratek are the chit ! They come with an automated Backflush, Booster Pump & TDS Meter.
This thing automatically backflushes the ro membrane(s) and since it comes with a pump when it says it makes 100gal a day it really does... if you dont have a pump the amount of water it makes depends on your water pressure..

bought the BRS 5stage plus a few weeks ago when it was on sale for cyber monday. could not be happier with it. i saw on another website a guy selling a spectrapure cspdi 180 for 150 near O'hare. i emailed him but then found the BRS unit on sale. he still is selling it.
