You know I really like Rods, great food and fish love it. After I have had it in my freezer awhile it starts to grow those ice crystals. Do you think that this a good reason to trash it??

No, just freezer burn and my fish eat it without knowing a difference.

No, that only means that the water is being pulled out of the cells. Basically like dehydration from the freezing. If I can eat a crystal covered chicken breast, my fish can too
