I use the calibration fluid too, i dont think its one time use since its a decent sized bottle.

The calibration solution I use is from Aqua Craft Products and test my refractometer once-a-week.

A precision floating hydrometer in tank or fresh made saltwater. Then use a precision thermometer to adjust for temperature, setting conductivity meter and refractometer to the same reading.

BRS sells the Aquacraft brand calibration fluid. I like Aquacraft because it has a built in dropper. There is no issue with diluted fluid from when you use a manual dropper if used after rinsing with RO water, or dried salt in the manual dropper.
