Sand sifter, what do you guys suggest?

Looking for a sand sifting goby. Basically looking for a fish to keep my sand nice and clean.

I like the goldenheaded sleeper goby, but I have read they tend to take the sand up high and drop it all over the place. Diamond watchman goby seems to be better for staying close to the sandbed.

What do you guys recommend?

I have cuc's,snails and a sea biscuit that keep things clean. The biscuit can move stuff on the sand bed if small.

Most of my wrasse sleep in sand and stir it up every night.

A conch does a good job

I have a conch and a cucumber. They both keep my sand nice and clean.

I had diamond gobbies and liked them but they wear out their welcome .

Do you have coral on your sand bed? If so they will get covered up. One of my first fish ever and favorite was a diamond goby. I didn't have coral but he moved the sand all over the place and made a mess,which I didn't mind so much at the time because what I was trying to achieve 15 years ago is different now. I'd make sure if you do get a sand sifting goby to be aware also that they eat the fauna in the sand and that's not to be its only source of food because the larger sand gobies will eat all the micro food extremely fast. Just make sure you find one and its eating otherwise they will slowly wither away.
