Schooling Fish

I also have my trio in a 75.

From what I understand, you should add one more female to keep an odd number in the group (3-5-7 females...). I started with a "trio" like you and now have 2 males and a female with a deformed upper jaw from all the aggression. I need to catch one of the males to rehome and add some more females.

I went with a school (7) of blue/green Chromis from Happy Coral. They are fascinating little sh!t$ and show no fear from the larger fish. 6 are schooling and 1 is still in hiding since I received them yesterday. They added the mid range activity to the tank I was looking for and didnt break the bank price wise. Thanks again for the suggestions

I found 4 blues like in the picture locally. not enough?

I don't remember where I heard it or how accurate it is, but someone once told me that you should keep an odd # of the same fish, like 3, 5, 7. It doesn't matter if you have lots of them , though.
