Anyone here SCUBA dive? I have been thinking about getting certified, but dont know if its worth it living in Chicago, and only being able to dive when I travel.Any good CERT places in the city?

I enjoy being SCUBA certified but as you kinda said you only use it when you travel...but there is no comparison between snorkeling and diving...diving is AMAZING! If you can and think you would ever have the opportunity to use it then DO IT!

better jump on it... however double check with them. They are offering 2 open water dives in the package, but you need 4 for certification. See if they are just counting the 2 dives as two different trips out to the quarry with 2 dives each trip.
