Just learned Matt is off to Hawaii, store is sold. I find this disheartening (for us).

Anyone know the new owner or been to the shop? One thing about Matt, he had a knack for selecting healthy fish. Never had a loss from one I got from him, and that I can't say about anyone else.

As I heard from reefers (I didnot stop by for long) Steve Goldman is the name of the new owner.

Bummer. I heard there was a doctor going around and buying up the LFS's. I don't know how true this is and if this was the case here..

I do believe Steve just runs the place for someone else. Steve does own rainbow reef online corals. It has changed a little,a little more expensive. Steve has done a lot of matts customer maintenance on there tanks. The only thing I think I'll miss is the builds and Matt and his knowledge
