silicone question

Can you use the clear silicone in the paint/caulk section of any home improvement store for building dividers in the sump? If not who's got the best prices on that kinda stuff?

I use DAP 100% silicone, clear, with no additives. Hasn't failed yet in all the years of using the stuff! Just be sure to get the one that does not have the additives for mold resistance (i.e. bathroom / kitchen stuff you DONT want to use) There are also a few other brands available that work just as well.

i always used dap as well, i actually resealed my display with it two years ago and thats 220 gallons of water

Thanks for the advice...I'm putting together the hardware for my next tank...when I get serious with stuff I will post some pictures. Got an offer on the house we're selling so I may have money once again!
