Skimmer drivin me Crazy

This also happens when u put new/unwashed filter socks into your sump. I've heard of epoxy doing this to skimmers but I have never personally experienced it. Also dosing too much Carbon ie vodka/vinegar can do this as well. I would turn off the skimmer for now and take the recommendation to watch a YouTube video on the proper way to adjust skimmers. My suggestion is "mr saltwater tank tuning a protein skimmer" for the basics on YouTube. Plug it back in and play with it after u watched that video. I remember it being super annoying adjusting mine all the time but now I hardly ever touch the thing and I get great skimmate! Good luck man

I have a Skimz too. Epoxy has no impact on my skimmer. I've seen mine pump out micro bubbles too. It seems that it is caused by too much water going through the skimmer and it takes the bubbles out rather than letting them rise to the top in the cup. What I do to remedy this is open the air intake screw all of the way. This pulls less water and more air into the skimmer. Because there is less water and more air in the skimmer, the bubbles have a chance to rise to the top and pop.

Check your air intake to make sure something isn't restricting it.

It looks to me like Joe was right and there is water in the skimmer silencer. This is usually a symptom of the skimmer being placed too shallow and the necessity to close the gate/wedge valve too much. When you do this it creates back pressure in the skimmer and as a result the Venturi. This forces water out of the Venturi port on skimmer start up. A silencer filled with water coupled with the skimmer being too deep would definitely explain your microbubble issue.

I would also remove the air adjustment screw on the skimmer intake to ensure that you aren't over-restricting there.

Good luck!
