Hi I was wondering if anyone has ever used a down draft skimmer? I have been using a red sea berlin forever and have allways been pleased with it. But as my tank sizes and bio load have increased my orp seems to have fallen off a few points. Do you think this is because my skimmer cant keep up? All my tanks are connected together to form one main system.I have a 120 reef, a 110 fish only. And a 120 live rock only tank which i am trying to breed gold stripe mooron clown fish in. My red sea skimmer is ratted for 500 gallons and it has the Kent berlin venturi upgrade added to it. So my ? Is do you think i should up grade to a down draft or do you feel there would be no significant difference. Thanks guys!
