Hi. I'm looking for new Skimmer for my 40 gal reef and 20gal sump. My old one broke again. I'm looking at those two brands. Eshopps and Bubble Magnus. Do you guys have expierience with them and tell me which one would be more reliable, efficient and quieter? Thanks.

I have the bubble magnus c 3.5 skimmer on my 60 cube. My tank is fully stocked with corals and fish, and it does a great job. It's also super quiet.
 
I've got the eShopps PSK-150; AquaPros had a great price on it. I'm very satisfied with the job it does and it was small enough for the space I had. (75G w/ 29G sump - medium/high bioload bc I over feed. lol)
 
Thanks guy's. That won't help... it's 1-1 ;). I still have Super Reef Octopus 1000 SSS. I used it for my 125 reef for last 5 years. After downgrade instead of buying smaller skimmer I was using this one. Over those 6 years pump broke twice. I was really disappointed. It supposed to be very good pump. Bubble Blaster it is. O well, I replaced it once. and now Im not paying again 170$. I'd rather buy new skimmer...

Can I ask for advice? I found a local guy who is selling 6 months old Eshopps S120 for a 100 $. What is a difference between PSK and Cone S120? Thanks.

That's a good price. The Cone S120 has a smaller design and is supposedly quieter. I'm pretty sure they use the same pump but on the S120 it's internal.

Thank's very much. I got Skimmer yesterday. Small footprint, quiet. Got it set up. Looks like a good skimmer. Thanks.
