help me pick the right skimmer for my tank 220g sps SKIMZ SM 201 Monzter E-Series - In-Sump Protein Skimmer vs SKIMZ SK 201 Kone E-Series In-Sump Protein Skimmer,anyone had experience with those skimmer

I have the skimz monster SM-201 E-series on my 120 gal. SPS tank and I love it. It works great and is completely quiet. It is perfect rated for my 120. IMO it might by not enough for your 220 gal. I would suggest to go one size up.

The Kone uses a less efficient and noisier pump than the Monzter. Between those 2 that should answer which to buy.

I have the MF201 which is the same as the Skimz Monzter 201 but clad in blue. It is on my moderately stocked 180 and runs idle quite often. It will be adequate for your 220

I use the sm201 on my 350 gallon system and it works great. It is the best skimmer I have owned.
It worked so well I bought a sm161 for my clownfish grow out system

the SM201 Monzter E series grade for 214-533 gal do u think it will over kill.

I use a deltec ap902 rated for 700 gal on my 180 tank. I bought it from a guy who used it on a 75 gal tank
