Smart buddie and float valve.

Anyone having a problem with their smart buddie booster pump not completely shutting off when the float valve reaches its FULL reservoir tank. My booster pumps keeps turning on and off almost like the float valve isn't fully restricting the pressure to shut the smart buddie off. I tried different angles on the float ball but haven't had any luck. Im using the Ice Cap float valve. Im almost thinking the float valve ball is too small to fully shut the smart buddy off. I thought about taping some styrofoam to the ball in hopes it would add more surface area to add pressure. What float valve are you guys using with ur smart buddie?

Some little tricks to test it:

Tap on it
Heat it with a hair dryer
Put a magnet near it

Based on what happens you can decide what is needed.
