Sump Question

I picked up a very large sump that I'm in the process of cleaning up and have a question does anyone have a clue as to what the 3 u pieces on the inside of the sump View attachment 19480where for?

I think butch is asking about the U at the far right side. There's 3. Were all sure the holes are for drains and filter socks but what's the U slots for¿
