T5 Retrofit Kit?

Does any one sell them anymore? Can't find them. I want to add t5s to my 180 to go with my leds.

I bought a whole unit (on eBay) and broke it down....brs still sells the kits but my method was cheaper and made more sense for me.

I have the kit BRS sells and have been generally happy with it.

The "not thrilled with" parts are
1) the ballast only works with both bulbs working...the wiring is series.
2) the reflectors don't help with heat dissipation...almost seem to hold heat.

Doing it over again, I'd probably search for components and do a DIY. If not into the effort of DIY, the kit BRS sells does work.

Last note, I am now adding fans into my hood to deal with the added heat.

That's the one I want but they don't sell 60''. Are you happy with just 2 t5? What color t5 are you using? I was thinking of adding 4 to go with my leds.

It's plenty of par for my needs.

The 2 hydras were enough on their own, but I didn't like the shadows and "incomplete blending" because of being closer to the water than desirable.

But if you are a big time SPS guy, you may want more.
