I had one in my 25g cube. Stayed hidden in the rocks the entire time I had it. Couldn't even confirm that it ate much since it was always hidden. Was a waste of money in my opinion.
one of my fav fish, very chill and passive, kinda wanders around listlessly, i'm guessing mine was eating pods because it never came out to eat when i was feeding the tank. it just kinda wandered back and forth, in and out of holes in the rocks, was shy, but was usually visable.
What would you like to know? My little wolf pack consists of a pair of Tanaka's and a Yellow banded. Harlequin Tusk is the alpha wolf, but thats a different story. They all eat frozen, but only the Yellow Banded eats pellets that I have seen. For a smaller tank i would recommend only one, the Tanakas' and the Yellow Banded don't like hanging out, but there are no battles. When i only had one Tanaka she would always be the first to the baster for food, took no guff from anyone. With all three, plus all the fish additions I've made since then, they kind of stick closer to the rocks. None of the other fish ever really notice them or give them trouble, a Coris wrasse did once, but got the boot because of it. But they still are out in the open a lot, especially with three I can always see one without having to really look. I can't recommend them enough, if you don't have a fish big enough to eat them, they are for you!
Great fish to have.. Mine hides all the time in my rock work.. None of the other fish bother him including my other wrasses.. I see him blazing through the the rock work and once in awhile swims out in the open.. He's like a "white shadow" in the rock work lol.. They are very shy fish so give it time to get used to ur tank.. Mine eats a variety of food pellets, frozen, and flakes... They are very hardy once they get used to the tank..
Thx guys,
I have a yasha goby pistol shrimp pair and a red banded goby pistol shrimp pair and a swissguard basslet.
I`m thinking of getting rid of the swissguard for the Tanakas.
What do u guys think about that ?

The only basslet I have is an Assessor, and the Possums never noticed it and it never noticed them. Assessor's dont act like swissguards tho. Swissguards are in the same niche as the possums. If you have alot of rocks, or find one that eats prepared, they should be ok. Does the swissguard eat prepared?
The Tanaka or whichever Possum you decide on will not mess with your Basslet. What size tank do you have? If the tank is smaller they won't have enough room to stay out of each others way. Especially right after introduction. Maybe get a Possum that is bigger than the Basslet?
It`s only a 12g nanocube so thats why I would have to get rid of the swissguard,
3 fish is pushing it so 4 would be out of the question.
Though I feel the gobies have very little bioload.
The tank has been up for 7.5 months.
I like to push the limits on how many fish you can cram in a tank, but yea four would prolly be a bit much. Although I wouldn't judge you for trying to keep all 4
