Tattoos (show them off)

I know many people on here have some awesome tattoos, and I couldn't find any threads to show what you have. I'm looking to get my first, I would love to get a biomechanical one that incorporates something of my family and soon to be baby boy!

Would love to see what you guys/gals have, so show it off!
 
I'd get a starter tattoo, before jumping into something that's going to take 10 hours. Lol. The last thing you want, is an unfinished tattoo. Maybe get something that you would like inside the biomechanical tattoo, that would look Ok on it's own, but could be added to, as well. I've got 4, 2 small and 2 pretty detailed/big. I remember while getting my back shaded, I was having a hard time not passing out. I have a pretty good threshold for pain. Everyone is different, though. I've seen little women handle needles without flinching, and I've seen big badasses with tears in their eyes. Lol
 
Bring your phone and play angry birds or something to take your mind off the pain lol.. It works. I got mine at the Chicago Tattoo Factory, can't remember the woman's name who did it. But yep... I got a quarter sleeve of angel wings and a sword for St. Michael, because that's who I'm named after.
 
800mg of Ibuprofen does the trick for me! Go see Ben Wahh, at Deluxe Tattoo, Ashland/Irving, in Chgo.

I love pain . I tattoo my self did my chest half sleeve legs the rst at shops or friends i got huge tiger on my back ripping out skin giving the finger gotta have that one touched up first gotta get back into shape where i would actually want to take shirt off lol

This is my favorite tattoo, done by a friend, and still not quite finished yet. Needs more red in the torn flesh area. Most of my tattoos are entirely black and gray though, because colors are for kids and girls. J/K

I've inked a few things on myself, and plenty for friends, but just lettering, tribal, touch-ups, etc. I leave real art to the real artists. If anyone wants some basic work though, I'm quite good and have all proper clean equipment. Piercing too.

Ha this thread makes me think of a funny joke.
Husband, wife and friends are on vacation at a nude beach in Jamaica and they see a guy with "Welcome" tatoo'ed on his johnson. The guy was like man that had to hurt and why, Welcome? When they were all leaving after being there a week, they run in to the guy walking down the street and the husband goes there is the guy with the welcome tatoo. The wife lean to her friend and said I can't tell him that it really says, "Welcome to Jamaica and have a nice day"
