Just want to give BIG THANKS to Landon for doing this outstanding craftsmanship!!! Bravo!! Was amazed on the work... Always kept me updated with pictures as it was coming alive

This will be for my frag tank going with me to AZ...

Materials used: Premium cherry heartwood in the door, cherry wood on the door frame and trim, cherry furniture grade plywood on the sides. The frame was made of poplar wood, double layered..

I will totally recommend him

A canopy for my fixture will be nice.... Hummm!! I wonder if enough time...

Is it possible to build a slip canopy made of super light weight material?

No, I'm not a communist..
Very slick! The grain in the cherry wood is beautiful and so is the stand!

Landon, question, why poplar over pine for the frame? I'm the farthest thing from a carpenter/finisher and am just curious.

I used poplar because of its superior strength. I'm not a fan of using pine in furniture at all because it can leech sap and warp much easier unless its laminated or braced.
