Tips on combining tanks

What do you guys suggest would be the smoothest best way to combine two separate tanks into one? By combing I'm referring to the livestock/rock/corals etc not the physical tank. What I plan to do is put everything from my bio cube and 40g into my large tank. Note the sand from my 40g is relatively new, want to say 2 months.

Most corals will be fine id just transfer sps r the most finicky but even with them ive really never had a issue with transfering some brown out but recover . Theres always a risk but if u make sure your parameters r ok u should be good hell i set up tanks and completly stocked em with lps and softies same day .
