is it possible that i have too much current in my tank that it is killing my sps?
I lost one frag that had a new power head pointed at it. i know that the current is too strong for my pulsating xenias cuz they cant pulsate :(. the tank is a 75 gallon reef with one 1400 gph and one 1300 gph powerhead on the right side, one 1300 gph powerhead on the left side, and a 600gph pump from sump in the back pointing towards the right, and a 350gph from a canister filter in the back pointing to the front. Should i remove anything?

Yes you can.

Doesn't sound like too much flow. But direct flow can cause it. Key is intermitant/changing flow.

How old is your tank? I see you have a canister filter, does that mean no skimmer? This is a must for keeping SPS sucessfully.

i really want to remove this canister filter, all it does is remove helpful things. the only reason i keep it is because I use it to keep my activated carbon in. I do have a skimmer but it's in the sump so I dont count it for overall flow. The tank is around 6 months old. Fuge in the sump too. I know the lights are terrible, 260W power compacts with only 2 10k and 2 12k i got rid of the actinics 3 weeks ago until i get my new 8 bulb t5 fixture, my 1w bulb 120W led is useless for sps :(
