torch vs. mushrooms?

Since my xenia was all but gone, I yanked out the remaining and am entertaining the idea of rearrangement of my non encrusted corals. I have 2 different varieties of torch in the sandbed. They are fairly large and I am considering elevating them to the rockwork. This would leave them somewhat close to the mushroom colonies. I have noticed mushrooms seem to be a little more immune to warfare so my question is, would the torch do damage?

I would keep the torch away from anything that's not in the euphyllia family. I have mine right next to frogspawn and a hammer wall with no issues but when I first got it I had it by some zoas and mushrooms and the sweeper tentacles did some serious damage.

Keep away. They will sting other corals other than in its own family and even like that they can still hurt them.
